Twenty-three towering Corinthian columns are all that survive of Windsor, Mississippi's grandest antebellum mansion, completed in 1861 and destroyed by an accidental fire in 1890. The site is owned by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, which completed a multi-year stabilization of the columns in May 2025, and it is free and open to the public during daylight hours. Stay outside the protective fencing; otherwise hazards are minimal.
